- e-bike tour led by Ciclo Escursionismo Abruzzo;
- wine and oil tasting times at Azienda Agricola Fuschi‘s and Antico Frantoio Ciabarra‘s, in Silvi.
On friday the 8th and saturday the 9th, the old village of Silvi Alta will host the celebrations in honor of St. Martin.

Tasting times… for free
Azienda Agricola Fuschi and Antico Frantonio Ciabarra kindly offer their tasting times to the Relais Borgo sul Mare’s guests. You’ll reach them by e-bike (if you choose to enjoy the tour) or on your own.
The e-bike guided tour
For our guests the tour costs 25€.
The tour is led by Ciclo Escursionismo Abruzzo. You’ll be able to pay the operator before you start the tour.
If you prefer not to have the e-bike tour, you’ll be able to reach the tasting times on your own.
Agenda
- 9.00 am: you’ll leave from the Relais Borgo sul Mare to start your e-bike tour;
- Local olive oil tasting time: you’ll have your first stop at Antico Frantoio Ciabarra;
- Local wines and Montepulciano d’Abruzzo tasting: that’s the second stop, at Fuschi Vini’s.
- 1.00 pm: back to Relais Borgo sul Mare
Tasting times
Antico Frantoio Ciabarra is in Silvi Martina. The family manage the oil mill since 1923 and preserved the traditional granite stone milling and the cold pressing.
Azienda Agricola Fuschi is in Silvi Alta. They produce typical local wines such as Montepulciano d’Abruzzo, Trebbiano d’Abruzzo doc, Cerasuolo, Pecorino. Fuschi name its bottles being inspired from Silvi’s tradition.
Silvi Alta
During the celebrations of St. Martin, the old village of Silvi will host a two-days festival with streed food, markets, shows, vin brulé, new wine tasting and typocal food.
Relais Borgo sul Mare is just in the central square of the village: go downstairs to be in the very heart of the celebrations.
How to get to the village?
By car, from the motorway exits Pineto Atri or Pescara Nord, follow the directions to Silvi / Silvi Alta.
The nearest railway station is Silvi. The nearest Airport is Aeroporto d’Abruzzo in Pescara: it takes about 30 minutes by car to reach the village. We keep at you disposal for further info.
